Polimorfne promene materije nastale mlevenjem minerala

AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati istraživanja iz oblasti usitnjavanja, sakupljani duži niz godina, u Institutu za tehnologiju nuklearnih I drugih mineralnih sirovina. Poznato je da se područja sa frekfencijama preko 3•1011 do 3•1014 Hz nalaze u elektromagnetnom spektru infracrvenog i daleko infracrvenog emitovanog ili apsorbovanog zračenja. U radu su prikazani rezultati kada se materijal i kugle u mlinu nalaze na jednoj od pomenutih frekfencija, što nam omogućava da pomoću Borovog uslova frekfencija pristupimo izračunavanju emitovanih i apsorbovanih molarnih energija. Polimorfne promene materije pri usitnjavanju su promene izazvane fizičkim procesima, odnosno emitovanjem određene količine energije od strane mlina I adsorbovanjem tih energija od strane materijala. Izvršen je pokušaj da se odrede nivoi tih energija. Prikazani rezultati pokazuju da sve jedinke u mlinu pretrpe lokalni pritisak i tada na njima, delimično ili u celini, dolazi do polimorfnih promena materije menjajući fazna stanja i kristalnu strukturu iste. Na zrnima minerala na veoma ograničenim mestima po površini (10-3 do 10-5 cm2) i u kratkim vremenskim periodima trajanja (10-4 s) dolazi do povećanja temperature čak do 1000 C što su autori iz reference [3] nazvali magma plazma modelom slika 1. Rad prikazuje praćenje polimorfnih promena materija preko promena njihovih termodinamičkih veličina. Takođe, postoje i velike razlike polimorfnih promena minerala u zavisnosti od mineraloškog oblika u kojem se materija nalazi.

AB  - U ITNMS-u su obavljena detaljna fizičko-hemijska i mineraloška ispitivanja na 3 tri vrste uzorka bentonita iz ležišta „Bijelo polje “- Opština Bar. Ova ispitivanja su omogućila sagledavanje potencijalnosti mineralnog resursa kao i tehnoloških mogućnosti prerade bentonitske sirovine iz ležišta "Bijelo Polje"-Bar u cilju dobijanja komercijalnih proizvoda, za primenu u različitim industrijskim granama. Ovim ispitivanjima su određeni: gruba i higroskopna vlaga, specifična masa, granulometrijski sastavi. Granulometrijski sastavi su određivani prosejavanjem na Tyler-ovoj seriji sita, do krupnoće -37μm, a na klasi -37+0,00μm granulometrijski sastavi su određeni laserskom difrakcijom na suvo i mokro. Na sve tri vrste uzoraka obavljene su hemijske analize, u okviru kojih je određen sadržaj glavnih i štetnih komponenti u uzorcima bentonita (sadržaj teških metala). U okviru fizičke karakterizacije urađena je DTG/TG i DSC analiza, određen je: bentonitski broj, KKI (kapacitet katjonske izmene), stepen adsorpcije metilen plavog, stepen beline pojedinih uzoraka, kao i index plastičnosti po metodi Atteberg-Kasagrande, koef. apsorpcije vlage po metodi Enslin –Neff, sadržaj adsorbovanih dioksina u kompozitnom uzorku bentonitske rude, i na kraju je obavljeno određivanje pH vrednosti 5% suspenzije. U okviru mineraloških ispitivanja obavljena su ispitivanja na pojedinim klasama krupnoće, kao i XRD analiza, kojom su određene strukturno-teksturne osobine bentonitske sirovine, mineralni sastav, način njihovog pojavljivanja, veličinu pojedinih mineralnih čestica u rudi itd. Sve obavljene analize i ispitivanja izvrsena su u skladu sa medjunarodno priznatim standardnim metodama za odredjivanje parametara koji se koriste za ocenu kvaliteta bentonitski glina - ISO, EN i ASTM. Obavljena ispitivanja su pokazala da je bentonitski mineralni resurs „Bijelo polje “- Bar, veoma značajna sirovina iz koje se mogu dobiti brojni proizvodi koji se mogu potencijalno primeniti u mnogim industrijskim granama.

Synthesis and characterisation of cordierite - based protective coating

AB  - The paper investigates the composition and procedures for the production of refractory coatings based on cordierite for the protection of parts of equipment in metallurgy and mining. An ultrasonic vibration method with a stationary sample according to the ASTM G32 standard was used to determine the resistance properties of the obtained protective coatings. The aim of the study was to determine the quality of coatings and the possibility of application for the protection of metal surfaces in conditions of cavitation, wear and corrosion. The change in the mass of the samples as a function of cavitation time was monitored. Cavitation velocity was determined as an indicator of coating resistance under cavitation loads. The occurrence and development of coating surface damage were monitored using a scanning electron microscope. Based on the value of cavitation velocity and analysis of surface damage morphology, cavitation resistance of the coating was determined. The results showed a satisfactory degree of resistance to cavitation of the tested refractory coatings based on cordierite and the possibility of their application for the protection of parts of equipment that will be exposed to cavitation loads during exploitation.

Synthesis of the new lost foam refractory coatings based on talc

AB  - This paper is focused on the preparation procedures, using a talc-based filler, to improve the rheologic properties of the lost foam refractory coatings. Talc, with grain size of 40 .m, was mechanically activated in a vibration mill over the following times: 10, 20 and 30 min. Depending on the time required for the mechanical activation, the change in the filler grain size and shape was analysed along their effects on the talc-filled lost foam coating dispersion ability and stability. In order to characterize the filler, the following methods were used: X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and optic microscopy. The coating composition was tuned by choosing the suitable grain size and shape factor of the activated filler. In addition, different coating components (additives, solvent) were applied to alter the coating generation procedure. It was shown that the application of this type of the lost foam refractory coatings - water-based coatings - have a positive influence on quality of the aluminium alloy castings, which contributes to reducing the cost of cleaning and processing of the castings. Also, alcohol-based refractory coatings with talc-based activated fillers were tested and used to have the castings produced in the sand moulds.

AB  - This paper presents results of investigations of the possibility of using “Pješivački Do”-Danilovgradlimestone as filler in various industry branches. Micronization methods, granulometric composition, oil and water absorption and degree of whiteness were investigated, and chemical and thermal analyses (DT/TG) were performed.Physico- chemical properties of this limestone classify it among high quality carbonate raw materials with high CaCO3 content of 98.65%, as well as low MgCO3 content of 0.95% and low silicate content (SiO2 0.23%). Its quality satisfies requirements of standards on using of calcium carbonate as filler in industry of paints and coatings; paper industry; rubber and PVC industry; in production of cattle feed; glass industry; production of mineral fertilizers and sugar industry. Due to the low degree of whiteness (87,6%) Pješivački Do”limestone cannot be used in pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry. Due to relatively high content of Cr (10 ppm) as heavy metal, content of S (0,19%), as well as biogenic elements P2O5 (0.030%), “Pješivački Do” limestone cannot be used in, foundry industry and metallurgy and for neutralization of acidic soils.

AB  - Since the late seventies of twentieth century geopolymers have been investigated as a new type of aluminosilicate binders which will eventually replace traditional cement based structural materials. Geopolymers are the three-dimensional synthetic inorganic polymers, which contain amorphous and semi-amorphous crystal microstructures. Hybrid binders are structural materials which combine alkali activated raw materials and cement in its mixdesign. In this paper the characteristics of bentonite, which are important for its application in geopolymers and hybrid cement binders, were thoroughly investigated in order to evaluate its proneness to alkali activation. Bentonite samples from three different deposits were submitted to detail testing. Determined moisture contents in bentonite samples were from 20.54 % to 24.15 %. Hygroscopic moisture was in range 7.99 - 8.99 %, and specific mass was in range 2.42 - 2.52 g/cm3 . Grain-size analysis of the bentonite samples was conducted using Sympatec laser sizer. Mineralogical analysis highlighted smectite, α-crystbalite, quartz, and feldspar as the most aboundant mineral phases. DTA/TG analyses were conducted to monitor thermal behavior of the bentonite samples in thermal range 20 – 1000 °C. Cation exchange capacity, CEC, (Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+ , and K+) was also conducted. Obtained total CEC values were from 66.16 meq/100g to 78.97 meq/100g. Plasticity of bentonite samples was determined using Atterberg – Casagrande methodology. Also Moisture absorption coefficient (using Enslin –Neff methodology), pH values and dioxin content in samples were tested. It was determined that investigated bentonite samples showed high potential for application in construction materials, i.e. geopolymers and hybrid binders.

AB  - U radu su prezentirani rezultati sinteze nove vrste vatrostalnih premaza na bazi bazalta za zaštitu metalnih konstrukcija u uslovima delovanja kavitacije. Polazni uzorci bazalta dobijeni su iz ležišta Vrelo - Kopaonik. Vatrostalni punioc na bazi bazalta dobijen je drobljenjem i mlevenjem izabranih uzoraka bazaltnih stena. Za karakterizaciju dobijenih uzoraka punioca korišćene su metode: rendgenska difrakciona analiza (XRD), skenirajuća elektronska mikroskopija (SEM) i optička mikroskopija. Istraživanjem su definisani sastavi premaza na bazi bazalta sa vezivom na bazi epoksi smole, organskim aditivima i organskim rastvaračem. Svojstva otpornosti zaštitnih premaza nanesenih na metalne površine ispitivana su primenom ultrazvučne vibracione metode sa stacionarnim uzorkom prema standardu ASTM G 32. Da bi se ocenila otpornost površine uzorka na dejstvo kavitacije ispitivana je površina uzorka pre i za vreme testiranja. Površine uzoraka snimane su na skenirajućem elektronskom mikroskopu u cilju praćenja i analize morfologije oštećenja površine. Za ocenu oštećenja površine uzoraka primenjena je kompjuterska analiza slike prema programu Image Pro Plus. Dobijeni rezultati ispitivanja pokazali su visoku otpornost slojeva premaza na dejstvo kavitacije, sa malim gubicima mase, malim oštećenjima površine premaza i kavitacionom brzinaom 0,1 mg/min.
AB  - The paper present the results of the synthesis of a new refractory coating based on basalt for the protection of metal construction under conditions of cavitation. Initial basalt samples obtained from the locality Vrelo - Kopaonik. The basalt based refractory filler was obtained by crushing and grinding selected samples of basalt rock. XRD, SEM and optical microscopy methods were used to characterize the obtained filler samples. The research defined the composition of basalt -based coating with epoxy resinbased binder, organic additives and organic solvent. The resistance properties of protective coatings applied to metal surface were investigated using the ultrasonic vibration method with a stationary sample according to the ASTM G 32 standard. To evaluate the resistance of the sample surface to the action of cavitation, the sample surface was examined before and during testing. The surface of the samples was monitored by scanning electron microscopy in order to analyze the morphology of surface damage. Computer image analysis according to the Image Pro Plus program was applied to assess the damage to the sample surface. The obtained test results showed high resistance of the coating layers to the effect of cavitation, with small mass losses, small damage to the coating surface and a cavitation rate of 0,1 mg/min.

AB  - U radu je ispitivana otpornost pod dejstvom kavitacije uzoraka sinterovanog pirofilita. Polazni uzorak pirofilita iz ležišta Parsović-BiH mleven je u vibracionom mlinu na granulaciju 20mm, presovan je i sinterovan na temperaturama (ºC): 1000; 1100; 1200. Za procenu kavitacione otpornosti praćena je promena mase uzorka u funkciji vremena delovanja kavitacije. Primenjena je ultrazvučna vibraciona metoda sa stacionarnim uzorkom prema standardu ASTM G32. Izračunate su kavitacione brzine za sve uzorke, kao osnovni pokazatelj otpornosti materijala pod dejstvom kavitacije. Promena morfologije površine uzorka sa vremenom ispitivanja praćena je primenom skenirajuće elektronske mikroskopije. Na osnovu vrednosti kavitacione brzine i analize morfologije oštećenja površine određena je kavitaciona otpornost ispitivanih uzoraka na bazi pirofilita. Dobijeni rezultati ukazuju da uzorci sinterovanog pirofilita imaju zadovoljavajuću otpornost na dejstvo kavitacije i mogu se primeniti u uslovima manjih kavitacionih opterećenja.
AB  - The resistance under the action of cavitation of sintered pyrophillite samples was investigated. The initial sample of pyrophillite from the Parsovic-BiH deposit was ground a vibrating mill to a granulation of 20 mm, pressed and sintered at temperatures (⁰C): 100; 1100; 1200. To assess cavitation resistance, the change in sample mass as a function of cavitation time was monitored. The cavitation erosion test was performed using the ultrasonic vibratory cavitation test method according to the ASTM G-32 standard. Cavitation velocites were calculated for all samples, as a basic indicator of the resistance of the material under the action of cavitation. The change in the morphology of the surface with the test time was followed by scanning electron microscopy. Based on the values of cavitation velocity and analysis of the surface damage morphology, the cavitation resistance of the tested samples based on pyrophillite was determined. The obtained results indicate that the samples of sintered pyrophillite have satisfactory resistance to the action of cavitation and be applied in conditions of lower cavitation loads.

AB  - U ovom radu prikazani su rezulati određivanja Bondovog radnog indexa krečnjaka iz postrojenja za preradu krečnjaka “Carmeuse”- Ševarlije-Doboj. Bondov radni index je određivan na klasi krupnoće - 22+16mm, koja je jedan od proizvoda koji se dobija u postrojenju. Ova klasa je trebalo da predstavlja polaznu sirovinu za postupak mlevenja i proizvodnju punioca pa je stoga bilo bitno da se odredi Bondov radni index kao jedan od najvažnijih parametara usitnjavanja za bilo koju rudu.

AB  - Mikrolegirani čelici se primenjuju za izradu različitih elemenata opreme u metalurgiji i rudarstvu. Zbog zahteva koje oprema treba da ispuni i sigurnosti koju treba da obezbedi, vrše se različita ispitivanja ove vrste konstrukcionih materijala. U radu je ispitivano ponašanje mikrolegiranog čelika S355M u uslovima dejstva kavitacije. Za ispitivanje je primenjena ultrazvučna vibraciona metoda sa stacionarnim uzorkom. Praćena je promena mase uzoraka u funkciji vremena dejstva kavitacije. Morfologija oštećenja površine analizirana je primenom skenirajuće elektronske mikroskopije. Utvrđen je mehanizam nastajanja i razvoja oštećenja površine uzoraka pod dejstvom kavitacije. Procenjena je mogućnost primene ove vrste materijala u rigoroznim uslovima eksploatacije koji su prisutni u metalurškim procesima.

AB  - U radu je ispitivana mogućnost primene bazalta iz ležišta Vrelo - Kopaonik, za dobijanje proizvoda staklo-keramike poboljšanih svojstava za primenu u proizvodnji konstrukcionih elemenata opreme u metalurgiji i rudarstvu. Jedan od ciljeva bio je i proširenje primene ispitivanih keramičkih materijala u inženjerskoj praksi kao zamena za metalne materijale. Istraženi su postupci prečišćavanja, mlevenja I mehaničke aktivacije bazaltnog agregata, postupci sinteze uzoraka procesima presovanja I sinterovanja, kao i procesi topljenja, livenja i termičkog tretmana. S obzirom na rigorozne uslove eksploatacije u metalurškim i rudarskim procesima u cilju ispitivanja kvaliteta i izbora materijala primenjeno je više metoda karakterizacije -rendgenska difrakciona analiza, optička i skenirajuća elektronska mikroskopija, ultrazvučna vibraciona metoda sa stacionarnim uzorkom, kompjuterska analiza slike. Dobra tehnička svojstva čini bazalt važnom sirovinom za primenu u različitim granama industrije. U radu su prikazani i rezultati istraživanja primene bazalta za izradu vatrostalnih premaza za zaštitu metalnih i nemetalnih konstrukcija, kao i ispitivanje primene ojačivača na bazi bazalta u kompozitima tipa polimerna osnova/bazaltni prah za specifične uslove primenu u mašinstvu I građevinarstvu. Srbija raspolaže kvalitetnim bazaltom (stenama bazalta) za istraživanja sinteze novih materijala i široku primenu u industriji. Primena ove vrste sirovina može da doprinese poboljšanju ekonomskih, energetskih i ekoloških aspekata poslovanja metalurških i rudarskih pogona, kao i pogona za reciklažu otpada.

AB  - U radu je istraživano dobijanje vatrostalnih punioca na bazi različitih mineralnih sirovina, a pre svega pirofilita, mulita, kordijerita i cirkona. U cilju dobijanja vatrostalnih punioca visokih svojstava I primene u sintezi novih oblikovanih i neoblikovanih vatrostalnih materijala, vršena su sistematična istraživanja procesa pripreme mineralnih sirovina postupcima prečišćavanja, mlevenja i mehaničke aktivacije. Mlevenje i mehanička aktivacija punioca vršena je u visokoenergetskim mlinovima sa polazne veličine zrna 100μm do veličine zrna 15 μm. Posebna pažnja tokom istraživanja posvećena je ispitivanju uticaja mehaničke akrivacije punioca na reološka svojstva dobijenih vatrostalnih premaza za primenu u livarstvu. Karakterizacija dobijenih punioca vršena je primenom rendgenske difrakcione analize i skenirajuće elektronske mikroskopije, a kvalitativna mineraloška analiza i analiza oblika I veličine zrna punioca urađena je pod polarizacionim mikroskopom primenom imerzione metode I kompjuterskog programskog paketa Ozaria 2.5. Rezultati ispitivanja mogućnosti primene dobijenih vatrostalnih punioca za izradu livačkih premaza pokazali su da je veličina zrna punioca 15-20μm optimalana za postizanje zadovoljavajuće reologije primene premaza. Zadovoljavajuća svojstva premaza postignuta su primenom optimalnih sastava premaza i procesa njihove izrade.

AB  - U radu su istraživani postupci pripreme punioca na bazi pirofilita za dobijanje vatrostalnih premaza sa kontrolisanim reološkim svojstvima. Polazni uzorci pirofilita dobijeni su iz ležišta Parsović-BiH. Istraživan je uticaj procesa mikronizirajućeg mlevenja na promenu svojstava vatrostalnog punioca, promenu veličine i oblika zrna punioca, disperznost i stabilnost suspenzije premaza. Za karakterizaciju dobijenih punioca korišćene su metode XRD, SEM i optička mikroskopija. U drugoj fazi istraživanja punioci su podvrgnuti procesu mikronizirajućeg mlevenja u mlinu sa keramičkim kuglama. Gornja granica krupnoće ulaznog materijala bila je 100% -2,00 mm. Vremena mikronizirajućeg mlevenja (min): 15; 20;25. Cilj je bio optimizacija svojstava punioca na bazi pirofilita, definisanje sastava premaza i postupaka njihove izrade. Kvalitet dobijenih premaza kontrolisan je u skladu sa standardom za ovu vrstu vatrostalnih proizvoda.
AB  - The paper investigates the procedures for the preparation of fillers based on pyrophyllite for obtaining refractory coatings with controlled rheological properties. Starting samples of pyrophyllite were obtained from the Parsović-B&H deposit. The influence of the micronizing ginding process on the change in the properties of the refractory filler, the change in the size and shape of filler grain, the dispersion and stability of the coating suspension was investigation. To characterize the obtained fillers XRD, SEM and optical microscopy were used. In the second phase of the research, the fillers were subjected to the process of micronizing grinding in the mill with ceramic balls. The upper limit of the size of the input material was 100% -2,00 mm. Micronizing grinding time (min): 15; 20; 25. The aim was to optimize the properties of fillers based on pyrophyllite, to define the composition of coatings and the procedures for their production. The quality of the obtained coatings was controlled in accordance with the standard for this type of refractory products.

Vremena mikronizirajućeg mlevenja (min): 15; 20;25. Cilj je bio optimizacija svojstava punioca na bazi pirofilita, definisanje sastava premaza i postupaka njihove izrade. Kvalitet dobijenih premaza kontrolisan je u skladu sa standardom za ovu vrstu vatrostalnih proizvoda., The paper investigates the procedures for the preparation of fillers based on pyrophyllite for obtaining refractory coatings with controlled rheological properties. Starting samples of pyrophyllite were obtained from the Parsović-B&H deposit. The influence of the micronizing ginding process on the change in the properties of the refractory filler, the change in the size and shape of filler grain, the dispersion and stability of the coating suspension was investigation. To characterize the obtained fillers XRD, SEM and optical microscopy were used. In the second phase of the research, the fillers were subjected to the process of micronizing grinding in the mill with ceramic balls. The upper limit of the size of the input material was 100% -2,00 mm. Micronizing grinding time (min): 15; 20; 25. The aim was to optimize the properties of fillers based on pyrophyllite, to define the composition of coatings and the procedures for their production. The quality of the obtained coatings was controlled in accordance with the standard for this type of refractory products.",

AB  - The optimal outputs of pyrophyllite mechano-chemical activation in an ultra-centrifugal mill performing under different technological conditions were determined by analytical modeling and verified via Artificial Neural Network in order to be employed in the production of cement-based binders. Cluster Analysis and Principal Component Analysis were utilized in assessment of the effect of activation process parameters on the activated pyrophyllite quality. Artificial Neural Network which performed with high prediction accuracy, i.e. 0.914 during the training period, was sufficient for precise prediction of activated pyrophyllite quality in a wide range of processing parameters. The probability of utilization of observed activation products was estimated through interrelation of technological parameters (mesh size sieve, activation period, specific energy consumption) and acquired characteristics of pyrophyllite (grain diameter, specific surface area). The optimal products singled out from each activation sequence were used as mineral additives in the mix-designs of four cement binders (cement replacement portion was 30%). Influence of activated pyrophyllite additions on the cement chemistry, mineral phase compositions and microstructures of the cement binders were monitored by instrumental techniques (DTA/TGA, XRD, SEM). Activated pyrophyllite showed characteristics of pozzolana as it slightly accelerated early stages of hydration, decreased cement hydration energy and increased the quantity of cement mineral alite at later hydration stages. Micron-sized crystalline foila characteristic for mechanically activated pyrophyllite formed micro-reinforcement within cement binder microstructure.

Performances of Vermiculite and Perlite Based Thermal Insulation Lightweight Concretes

AB  - This experimental study was conducted with an aim to investigate the effect of the elevated temperature on the mineral phase composition, microstructure and mechanical properties of the thermal insulation lightweight concretes. The first group of experimental concretes was based on the expanded vermiculite and expanded perlite used as lightweight aggregates (in 65 wt%) in combination with either ordinary Portland cement or refractory calcium aluminate cement. The mix-design of the second group of concretes comprised standard quartz aggregate, vermiculite or perlite as aggregate replacement (25 wt%) and binder (PC or CAC). A total of 10 concrete mix-designs were fabricated in form of 40x40x160 mm samples which were submitted to heat-treatment at 400 degrees, 600 degrees, 800 degrees and 1000 degrees C upon standard 28-days period of curing and hardening. The changes in crystallinity and mineral phase composition induced by temperature were monitored by X-ray diffraction technique. Microstructural visualizations of the non-fired and fired concrete samples were conducted by scanning electron microscopy accompanied with EDX analysis. The results indicated that despite the decrease in compressive strengths upon firing, investigated lightweight concretes can be categorized both as thermal insulators and structural materials.

AB  - Ispitivana je mogućnost korišćenja krečnjaka “Visočica” za dobijanje punioca. Ispitivani su mikronizacija, granulo-sastav, upijanje vode i ulja, i stepen bjeline. Urađena je hemijska i DTA/TG analiza. Na osnovu fizičko-hemijskih karakteristika ovaj krečnjak se može koristiti kao punioc u sledećim industrijama: za boje i lakove, kozmetičkoj i farmaceutskoj, papirnoj, gume i PVC-a, stakla, za proizvodnju životinjske hrane, livarskoj, šećera i metalurgiji. Zbog povišenog sadržaja MgO i G.Ž, ne može se koristiti u proizvodnji mineralnih đubriva. Zbog prisustva Cd, ne može se koristiti za neutralizaciju kiselih zemljišta.

AB  - U rudnom telu rudnika „Grot“-Kriva Feja kod Vranja, povremeno se pojavljuje ruda sa veoma visokim sadržajem minerala olova (Pb) i cinka (Zn). Iz ovakve rude je zbog visokog sadržaja metaličnih minerala 85-90 %, praktično nemoguće dobiti koncentrate K/Pb i K/Zn, postupkom flotacijske koncentracije, koji je osnovni definisani postupak dobijanja koncentrata u ovom rudniku. U radu je prikazano ispitivanje mogućnosti dobijanja koncentrata K/Pb i K/Zn postupkom gravitacijske koncentracije, sitnih klasa na klatnom stolu Wilfley. U radu su detaljno opisani način pripreme rude, eksperimentalni uslovi i sam postupak izvođenja opita gravitacijske koncentracije.

Iz ovih razloga, neophodno je dobro poznavanje njihovih fizičko-hemijskih, mineraloških, mehaničkih osobina, i posebno mehanizama procesa njihovog finog usitnjavanja (mikronizacije).Detaljnim istraživanjima kinetike mikronizirajućeg mlevenja pirofilita, dobijeni su elementi za određivanje efikasnosti rada vibracionih i ultra-centrifugalnih mlinova, a samim tim stečeni su uslovi za definisanje kako tehnoloških parametara mikronizacije, tako i parametara proizvoda mikronizacije. U isto vreme, na osnovu detaljne fizičko-hemijske, mineraloške i rentgenske karakterizacije mikroniziranih proizvoda pirofilita, uočene su određene fizičko-hemijske promene u njihovoj strukturi (prelaz pirofilita u amorfno stanje), što je sigurno posledica rada pomenutih mlinova.

AB  - The present work explored the effectiveness of Parsovići pyrophyllite ore as sorbent material for heavy metals such as Pb, Cu, Zn, Cd and Ni from aqueous solution. The analysis of chemical composition of PIR samples revealed the presence of silica and alumina besides Ca bearing phase; along with FTIR analysis which confirmed presence of hydroxyl groups attached to Si or Al, the composition of the ore sample indicates that this sample might be a prospective source for the effective metal sorbent. The preliminary batch sorption studies supported this hypothesis, indicating that the PIR sample poses highest affinity (mmol/g) in single ion solution towards Pb, followed by Zn, Cu, Ni and Cd. In multi metal solution the sorption of Zn was lowest. The sorption capacity under described operational conditions for Pb (single metal solution) was 47.25 mg/g.

AB  - The paper presents the results of the investigation of cavitation resistance of glass-ceramics based on basalt rocks from the Vrelo Kopaonik deposit and various waste industrial raw materials. The aim was to determine the possibility of using glass-ceramics as a substitute for metallic materials in the production of structural elements of mining and metallurgy equipment. The ultrasonic vibration method (with a stationary samples) was used for cavitation resistance testing, according to the ASTM G-32 standard. A change in the sample mass in function of the cavitation time was monitored for the evaluation of cavitation resistance. The level of degradation of the surface of the sample was quantified using the image analysis. The change in the morphology of the sample surface with the test time was followed by scanning electron microscopy.

AB  - Cavitation is a kind of wear and represents formation, growth and collaps of steam or vapor gas bubbles in a flowing fluid. Collaps of the bubble creates shock waves and micro–jet that are damaging materials in contact with the fluid that flows. It has been shown that the impact formed by collapsing cavitation bubbles cause damage and mass loss of the material, i.e., cavitation erosion. Basalt–based glass ceramics obtained by processes of melting, casting and thermal treatment of the basalt aggregate proved to be suitable for use in conditions of high cavitation loads. The experiment was conducted using an ultrasonic vibration method with stationary sample (ASTM G32 standard). A change in the sample mass in function of the cavitation time was monitored for the evaluation of cavitation resistance. The level of degradation of the sample surface was quantified using the image analysis. The change in the morphology of the sample surface with the test time was followed by scanning electron microscopy. Analyzing the progression of erosion samples of glass-ceramics, it can be concluded that the mass loss is small, for 120 min exposure is 3.53 mg, with a cavitation rate of 0.03 mg/min and total surface damage of the sample of 12%. This technical ceramics shows high resistance to the effect of the cavitation.

AB  - U ovom radu prikazani su rezulati rada Rudnika-Grot. Pre svega su prikazani stanje, tehnologija I način rada na rudi olova i cinka koja se eksploatisala i prerađivala u prethodnom periodu. Prikazano je osnovno eksploataciono polje Rudnika Blagodat do 2018., geološke karakteristike ležišta, mineralni sastva i ostale fizičko-hemijske osobine rude. Osim toga u radu je prikazana tehnološka inovacija iz 2017. kojom je izmenjena šema tehnološkog postupka u pogonu za flotiranje olovo- cinkane rude Rudnika Grot. U okviru ovoga dati su svi tehnološki parametri, tehničko-tehnološki efekti izvedene inovacije, kao i postignute uštede u postupku flotiranja u pogonu.

AB  - Paper presents results of investigations of the possibility of using “Brijeg”-Ulcinj limestone as filler in various industries. Micronization, granulometric composition, oil and water absorption and degree of whiteness were investigated, and chemical and thermal analyses were performed. Physico-chemical properties of this sample classify it among high quality carbonate raw materials with high CaCO3 content of 98.21%, with low contents of MgCO3 0.88 % and SiO2 0.16 %. Its quality satisfies requirements of standards on using of calcium carbonate as filler in next industries: paints and coatings; rubber and PVC; glass; foundry ; sugar industry production of mineral fertilizers and metallurgy.
