AB  - Results on thickening and filtration of waste materials from flotation plant "Feldspar" - Bujanovac are presented in this paper. The thickening and filtration waste material samples after magnetic separation on class -0,063 mm in laboratory conditions are performed. On the basis of dewatering tests, a aflowsheet along with thickening time is determined.

Laboratory investigation of valuable minerals concentration from poly-metallic wolfram-antimony ore deposit "osanica"

AB  - This work presents the results of complex laboratory investigation carried out in order to determine the possibilities to produce quality concentrates of wolfram and antimony minerals out of polymetallic wolfram-antimony ore from Osanica deposit, near Petrovac na Mlavi in Serbia. Physical, chemical and mineralogical characterization of raw sample indicated that this is a high grade poly-metallic ore, having 1.67% of wolframite and 4.31% of antimonite. Besides valuable minerals, the presence of SiO2 is determined with the share of over 80% and occurrence of the iron minerals is predominantly in the form of pyrite. It is also found that surfaces of wolfram and antimony minerals are oxidized. Technological aspects of beneficiation included grinding tests as well as pre-concentration and concentration tests of wolfram minerals using combination of gravity, magnetic and flotation concentration methods. Bond index, established in grinding tests, accounted 14 kWh/t. Pre-concentration tests, performed on fraction -4+0 mm, did not give positive results due to high content of intergrowth valuable particles with gangue minerals. Results of gravitational and magnetic concentration, applied on fraction -0.5+0.1 mm, showed the possibility to produce wolframite type of the concentrate with over 60% WO3 and quality concentrate of antimony minerals with over 47% Sb. The main scope of this investigation was to evaluate the technological flowsheet of the preparation process for this specific ore, according to parameters that provide the best possible results for selective production of high quality concentrates of wolfram and antimony minerals.

AB  - The potential application of different cation collectors in the flotation concentration of mica, feldspar and quartz sand has been investigated. Raw materials (Bujanovac and Ub) from two localities in Serbia were used. The results showed that for flotation of feldspars, Aero 3030C performed better than Flotigam DAT. Aero 3030C was more selective, and with its application a higher mass recovery of feldspar was obtained. In particular, the mass recovery of feldspar was 19.58% when Aero 3030C was applied and 7.58% when Flotigam DAT was used. However, the chemical compositions of the feldspar concentrates were not significantly different no matter which of these reagents was used. For the flotation of impurities from quartz sand, Aero 3030C was better than a combination of R 825 and Armak C. When Aero 3030C was used, a higher quality of quartz sand concentrate was obtained than when a combination of these collectors was applied. The mass recovery of quartz sand was almost the same: 64.47% when Aero 3030C was used and 61.72% when a combination of Aero 825 and Armac C was used.

AB  - U ovom radu su dati rezultati laboratorijskih ispitivanja mogućnosti dobijanja koncentrata kvarcnog peska iz sirovine ležišta 'Avala' - Ub koji bi se koristio u staklarskoj industriji za proizvodnju stakla po sistemu 'Float'. Obavljeni su eksperimenti klasiranja, atricionog ribanja, magnetne koncentracije i flotacijske koncentracije. Ispitivanja su pokazala da se postupkom flotacijske koncentracije može dobiti kvalitetan koncentrat kvarcnog peska za staklarsku industriju. Naime, dobijen je koncentrat kvarcnog peska sa sadržajem SiO2 99.28%, 0.26% Al2O3, 0.031% Fe2O3i 0.055% K2O+Na2O. .
AB  - In this work are given the results of the laboratory researches of the possibilities of getting the concentrate of the quartz sand from the row material from the bad Avala-Ub, which would be used, in the glass industry for the producing of glass according the system Float. There are published the results of sizing atritioned scrubbing, magnetic concentration ad flotation concentration. Researches showed that by the procedure of flotation concentration we can get the high quality of concentrate the quartz send for the glass industry. Particularly, it is got the concentrate the quartz sand with the content SiO2 99,28%, 0,26% Al2O% 0,031% Fe2O3 and 0,055% K2O+Na2O. .
