Chlorination of polymetalic Pb-Zn-Cu-Fe-Ba sulphide ore
Abstract
U radu su izloženi rezultati ispitivanja mogućnosti prerade baritno-sulfidne rude ležišta "Bobija" kod Ljubovije, postupkom hlorovanja, u cilju oslobađanja mineralnih zrna i obogaćivanja korisnih minerala. Hemijskim i mineraloškim ispitivanjima potvrđena je nemogućnost obogaćivanja rude metodama pripreme mineralnih sirovina i neophodnost primene hemijsko-metalurških postupaka za njenu preradu. Izvedeni su eksperimenti hlorovanja polimetalične rude kalcijum-hloridom i magnezijum-hloridom na povišenoj temperaturi. Ispitan je uticaj temperature i vremena hlorovanja i količine hlorirajućeg agensa na razaranje mineralnih zrna barita i njegovog eliminisanja iz rude. Barit se, u procesu hlorovanja, prevodi u barijum-hlorid, rastvoran u vodi i na taj način odstranjuje. Pirit na temperaturama hlorovanja disocira do pirotina, koji se potom odstranjuje magnetnom separacijom. Kao rezultat dobija se kolektivni koncentrat pogodan za dalju preradu sa visokim sadržajem korisnih minerala, koji egzistir...aju najvećim delom u vidu samostalnih mineralnih zrna.
The paper presents results obtained by investigating the possibilities to process Ba-sulphide ore of the bearing "Bobija" near Ljubovija by chlorination in order to remove mineral grains and enrich useful minerals Chemical and mineralogical investigations confirmed that it is impossible to enrich this ore by preparing the mineral raw materials and that its processing requires the application of chemical-metallurgic procedures. The experiments were conducted with chlorination of the polymetalic ore by calcium chloride and magnesium chloride at increased temperature Investigations were conducted to determine the influence of temperature chlorination time and chlorinating agent quantity on destruction of Ba mineral grain destruction and its elimination from the ore. At chlorination temperatures pyrite becomes pyrotine which is then eliminated by magnetic separation. As a result the collective concentrate is obtained suitable for further processing with high contents of useful minerals tha...t mainly exist in the form of independent mineral grains.
