U ovom radu su dati rezultati ispitivanja mogućnosti primene jalovine iz flotacije rudnika bakra u proizvodnji cementa. Objavljena su ispitivanja primene ove jalovine u sirovinskoj smeši iz koje se sinteruje portland cement i ispitivanja primene ove jalovine kao dodatak portland cementu. Dobijeni rezultati su potvrdili pretpostavku da ova jalovina može da zameni laporac u osnovnoj sirovinskoj smeši. Naime kvalitet portland cementa dobijenog no ovaj način se veoma malo razlikuje od kvaliteta portland cementa dobijenog na standardan način. Ispitivanja primene ove jalovine kao dodatka portland cementu su obavljena tako što su pripremljene tri mešavine portland cementa i jalovine. Sadržaj jalovine je iznosio 10, 15 i 20%. Uporedni rezultati fizičko-hemijskih karakteristika čistog portland cementa i ovako dobijenog mešanog cementa pokazuju da se ovi cementi mogu koristiti u građevinarstvu. Naime, cementi sa 15 i 20% jalovine imaju klasu 32,2, a cement sa 20% jalovine ima klasu 42,5 prema st...andardu ENV 197 - 1. Ispitivanja pokazuju da se flotacijsku jalovinu, koja pretstavlja sekundarnu sirovinu, može primeniti u cementnoj industriji.
Results of investigations on the possibility of copper mine flotation tail utilization in cement production were given in this paper. Flotation tail utilization investigations, for the raw mixture for the portland cement clinker sintering, so as for portland cement admixture, were performed. Quality of obtained portland cement clinkers showed that their characteristics were almost the same, such confirming that the copper mine flotation tail could be used to replace marl in the raw meal for the portland cement clinker sintering. In the second group of experiments, three mixtures of portland cement and flotation tail were prepared: with 10, 15 and 20% of flotation tail. Comparative results of the physico-mechanical characteristics of such obtained blended cements and the portland cement showed that blended cements could be used in the civil engineering. Namely, obtained cements containing 15 and 20 % of flotation tail were 32.2 class, while, the cement containing 10% of flotation tail w...as 42.5 class, according to the standard ENV 197-1. Accordingly, those investigations shown that the flotation tail, representing secondary raw material, could be used in the cement industry. .
