AB  - The oxidation process of chalcopyrite concentrate "Rudnik" (Serbia) was investigated by DTA-TG measurements under air conditions in the temperature range of 298 - 1173 K, as well as by XRD analysis of the oxidation products at 723,873 and 1173 K. Based on the results obtained, the mechanism of chalcopyrite concentrate oxidation process was given, contributing to the understanding of the successive chemical reactions accompanying the formation of intermediate products. The kinetic study of the investigated process was done according to the methods of Kissinger and Ozawa, which enabled determination of the activation energy values of the chemical reactions proceeding during the chacopyrite concentrate oxidation.

AB  - ovom radu prikazani su eksperimentalni rezultati ispitivanja procesa oksidacije bakar(I)-sulfida kiseonikom u temperaturnom intervalu 473-773 K i vremenu 5-120 min. Određen je stepen oksidacije bakar(I)-sulfida do bakar(I)-oksida i bakar(II)-sulfata u zavisnosti od temperature i vremena. Termodinamička analiza obuhvatila je proračun Gibsove enrgije za izabrane hemijske reakcije i analizu dijagrama stabilnosti log pSO2 - log pO2 sistema Cu-S-O, na osnovu čega je definisan hemizam procesa oksidacije bakar(I)-sulfida kiseonikom.
AB  - This paper presents experimental results of the investigation on the oxidation process of copper(I)-sulphide by oxygen in the temperature range of 473-773K and during various time intervals 5-120 min. The quantities of copper(I)-sulphide oxidized to copper(I)-oxide and copper(II)-sulphate at different temperatures were determined. Thermodynamic analysis included calculation of standard Gibbs energy change for supposed chemical reactions and analysis of isothermal log pSO2 - log pO2 stability diagrams in system Cu-S-O. On the basis of experimental data and thermodynamic calculations the chemistry of copper(I)-sulphide oxidation by oxygen was defined.

AB  - Otpadni beli lim i metalna ambalaža predstavljaju osnovnu sirovinsku bazu za regeneraciju kalaja. Tehnološki postupak njihove regeneracije obuhvata dve osnovne faze: pripremu otpada i njegovu dalju preradu. Priprema konzervi za dalju preradu je veoma važna faza u tehnologiji regeneracije kalaja sa belog lima i obuhvata sakupljanje, pretpranje, sortiranje, usitnjavanje, dopunsko pranje nakon sitnjenja, odmašćivanje i skidanje laka i završno pranje. Priprema otpadnog belog lima je jednostavnija usled manjeg stepena zaprljanosti. Prerada prethodno pripremljenog otpada radi izdvajanja kalaja iz otpadnog belog lima vrši se primenom postupka hlorovanja, elektrolitičkog rastvaranja i taloženja ili alkalnog luženja i elektrolize.
AB  - Waste tin plates and metallic pickings are main secondary tin sources. The technological procedure for their processing includes two basic stages: pretreatment of the scrap and it is further processing. The tin-plated cans pretreatment is a very important phase in the technology of tin regeneration from the waste tin plates. The technology includes the following operations, cans collection, rewashing, sorting, crushing, additional washing after the crushing, degreasing and warmish removal and final washing. Due to the lower grade of impurities pretreatment of the waste tin plates is simpler in comparison with the tin-plated cans. The processing of the previously prepared scrap, aimed to the tin recovery from the waste tin plates can be carried out in two ways. In one case, the processing consists of chlorination treatment, electrolytic dissolution and precipitation, while in the other case alkaline leaching and electrolysis are employed.

AB  - Eksperimentalna istraživanja su definisala tehnološku šemu aluminotermijskog postupka dobijanja metalnog kalcijuma iz domaćih krečnjaka i osnovne radne parametre pojedinih tehnoloških faza. Najpre je ispitan uticaj temperature vremena i krupnoće na kalcinaciju kalcijum-karbonata. Potom su određeni optimalni uslovi aluminotermijske redukcije kalcijum-oksida i izvršena karakterizacija dobijenog elementarnog kalcijuma.
AB  - The experimental investigations defined both the technological scheme of the calcium production from domestic limestone's by aluminothermy process and the basic working parameters of the particular technological phases. At the first, the influence of temperature, time and granulometry on the calcium carbonate calcinations was examined. Afterwards, the optimal conditions for the aluminothermy reduction of calcium oxide were determined and the characterization of the obtained elemental calcium was performed.

AB  - Halkozin (Cu2S) je sastavni mineral većine polimetaličnih sulfidnih koncentrata. U cilju iznalaženja postupka za kompleksnu preradu ovakvih sirovina, u ovom radu su prikazana ispitivanja luženja bakar(I)-sulfida sumpornom kiselinom и prisustvu natrijum-nitrata. Termodinamička analiza procesa luženja izvršena je proračunom vrednosti promené standardnih Gibsovih energija hemijskih reakcija i analizom E-pH dijagrama. Na osnovu termodinamičke analize procesa luženja i analize produkata koji nastaju и procesu, definisan je hemizam luženja bakar(I)-sulfida sumpornom kiselinom u prisustvu natrijum-nitrata. Ispitivanjem uticaja temperature i vremena na izluženje bakra utvrđeno je da povećanjem temperature od 40°C do 90°C pri konstantnim ostalim radnim parametrima, raste stepen izluženja bakra od 10,52% do 97,82%.
AB  - Chalcocite (Cu2S) is a constituent mineral of many sulphide concentrates. In order to invent a procedure for complex processing of such raw materials, we investigated the leaching process of copper (I) sulphide with sulphuric acid in the presence of sodium nitrate. Thermodynamic analysis of the leaching process was performed by calculation of standard Gibbs energy change for the supposed chemical reactions and E-ph diagrams. On the basis of both the thermodynamic analysis of the leaching process and the leaching products analysis, the chemism of copper(I) sulphide leaching with sulphuric acid in the presence of the sodium nitrate was defined. Examination of the temperature influence on the copper dissolution snowed that the temperature increase from 40 to 90°C was followed by an increase of copper leaching degree from 10,52% to 97,82%.

AB  - Pri flotaciji polimetaličnih ruda, pored selektivnih koncentrata, često nastaje kolektivni sulfidni koncentrat zbog prisustva sitnih mineralnih vrsta i njihovih kompleksnih međusobnih odnosa. Postojeći metalurški kapaciteti nisu u mogućnosti da vrše preradu kolektivnih koncentrata, pa su naša istraživanja bila usmerena na ispitivanje mogućnosti njihove prerade luzenjem sumpornom kiselinom u prisustvu natrijum-nitrata kao oksidansa. U ovom radu je prikazan deo ispitivanja vezan za luženje cinka iz polimetaličnog koncentrata и pomenutim uslovima i obuhvata sledeće termodinamičku analizu mogućih reakcija luženja, karakterizaciju polimetaličnog koncentrata, ispitivanje uticaja temperature i vremena na izluženje cinka i kinetičku analizu eksperimentalnih ispitivanja.
AB  - During floatation of polimetalic ores, in addition to selective concentrates there is a collective sulphide concentrate due to the presence of small mineral types and their complex inter-relations. The existing metallurgies capacities cannot process collective concentrates and therefore our research was focused on a possibility to process the concentrates by leaching with sulphuric acid in the presence of sodium nitrate as an oxidant. A part of research related to the leaching of zinc from polimetalic concentrate in the abovementioned conditions comprises the following phases: thermodynamic analysis of possible leaching reactions, characterization of polimetalic concentrate, investigation of the temperature and time effects on zinc leaching and kinetic analysis of experimental research.

U ovom radu je prikazan deo ispitivanja vezan za luženje cinka iz polimetaličnog koncentrata и pomenutim uslovima i obuhvata sledeće termodinamičku analizu mogućih reakcija luženja, karakterizaciju polimetaličnog koncentrata, ispitivanje uticaja temperature i vremena na izluženje cinka i kinetičku analizu eksperimentalnih ispitivanja., During floatation of polimetalic ores, in addition to selective concentrates there is a collective sulphide concentrate due to the presence of small mineral types and their complex inter-relations. The existing metallurgies capacities cannot process collective concentrates and therefore our research was focused on a possibility to process the concentrates by leaching with sulphuric acid in the presence of sodium nitrate as an oxidant. A part of research related to the leaching of zinc from polimetalic concentrate in the abovementioned conditions comprises the following phases: thermodynamic analysis of possible leaching reactions, characterization of polimetalic concentrate, investigation of the temperature and time effects on zinc leaching and kinetic analysis of experimental research.",

AB  - Na osnovu termodinamičke analize i karakterizacije bakar(I)-sulfida i produkata luženja određen je hemizam hlorovanja bakar(I)-sulfida kalcijum-hloridom u prisustvu kiseonika. Ispitan je uticaj temperature (473K-773K), vremena (2-120 min) protoka kiseonika (20-100 l/h) i količine kalcijum-hlorida (5-40% и visku) na stepen hlorovanja bakar(l)-sulfida kalcijum-hloridom. Na osnovu kinetičke analize i dobijene vrednosti za energiju aktivacije (20,89 kj/mol), utvrđeno je da se hlorovanje bakar(I)-sulfida kalcijum-hloridom odvija u difuzionoj oblasti.
AB  - The chemism of the chlorination of copper(I) sulphide by calcium chloride in the presence of oxygen has been determined on the basis of thermodynamic and characterization of copper(I) sulphide and leaching products. The influence of temperature (from 473 to 773 K), time (from 2 to 120 min), oxygen flow (from 20 to 100 L/h) and calcium chloride quantity (from 5 to 40%) on the chlorination degree of copper(I) sulphide by calcium chloride has been investigated. Kinetic analysis and the activation energy values of 20.89 kj/mol showed that the chlorination of the copper(I) sulphide by calcium chloride in the presence of oxygen is diffusion controlled.

AB  - U radu su izloženi rezultati ispitivanja mogućnosti prerade baritno-sulfidne rude ležišta "Bobija" kod Ljubovije, postupkom hlorovanja, u cilju oslobađanja mineralnih zrna i obogaćivanja korisnih minerala. Hemijskim i mineraloškim ispitivanjima potvrđena je nemogućnost obogaćivanja rude metodama pripreme mineralnih sirovina i neophodnost primene hemijsko-metalurških postupaka za njenu preradu. Izvedeni su eksperimenti hlorovanja polimetalične rude kalcijum-hloridom i magnezijum-hloridom na povišenoj temperaturi. Ispitan je uticaj temperature i vremena hlorovanja i količine hlorirajućeg agensa na razaranje mineralnih zrna barita i njegovog eliminisanja iz rude. Barit se, u procesu hlorovanja, prevodi u barijum-hlorid, rastvoran u vodi i na taj način odstranjuje. Pirit na temperaturama hlorovanja disocira do pirotina, koji se potom odstranjuje magnetnom separacijom. Kao rezultat dobija se kolektivni koncentrat pogodan za dalju preradu sa visokim sadržajem korisnih minerala, koji egzistiraju najvećim delom u vidu samostalnih mineralnih zrna.
AB  - The paper presents results obtained by investigating the possibilities to process Ba-sulphide ore of the bearing "Bobija" near Ljubovija by chlorination in order to remove mineral grains and enrich useful minerals Chemical and mineralogical investigations confirmed that it is impossible to enrich this ore by preparing the mineral raw materials and that its processing requires the application of chemical-metallurgic procedures. The experiments were conducted with chlorination of the polymetalic ore by calcium chloride and magnesium chloride at increased temperature Investigations were conducted to determine the influence of temperature chlorination time and chlorinating agent quantity on destruction of Ba mineral grain destruction and its elimination from the ore. At chlorination temperatures pyrite becomes pyrotine which is then eliminated by magnetic separation. As a result the collective concentrate is obtained suitable for further processing with high contents of useful minerals that mainly exist in the form of independent mineral grains.

AB  - U procesu rafinecije bizmuta, hlorovanjem legure Bi-Pb (Kroll-Bettertonov proces) kao međuprodukt pojavljuje se olovohlorid. Glavni predmet ovog rada je valorizacija olova i glinice tehničkog kvaliteta iz pomenutog međuprodukta postupkom aluminotermije. Za reakciju je korišćen sekundarni aluminijum različite krupnoće. Ispitan je uticaj temperature, vremena i krupnoće sekundarnog aluminijuma na stepen valorizacije olova i definisani optimalni parametri procesa. Stepen iskorišćenja olova iznosi 95-98%. Nakon toga, olovo je tretirano u rafinerijama olova, a glinica tehničkog kvaliteta ima primenu u keramičkoj industriji.
AB  - In the refinement process of bismuth by chlorinating Bi-Pb alloy (Kroll-Betterton process) leadchloride was formed as a side-product. The main objective of this work is the recovery of lead and technical grade alumina by aluminothermic treatment of leadchloride. The secondary aluminium was used for aluminothermic reaction. Lead recovery degree depending on time, reduction temperature and form of used aluminium was investigated. The optimal parameters of the process were also determined. Lead recovery was in the range of 95-98%. Thereafter, the lead was treated in the lead refineries and technical grade alumina was used in ceramic industry.
